Jill & Sesha of Our Farm!

When I met these two fine people I realized that happiness starts with food.  Sesha and Jill have been living on the Sonoma-Broadway farm in Sonoma, California for over a year now and their joy is apparent.  This farm produces nearly half of Delessio's fresh produce and vegetables.  Complete with goats, chickens, greenhouse, plenty of acreage and a newly-opened kitchen to the public, the Sonoma-Broadway farm is a pretty self-sufficient farm.  Not only that, but they are one of the few farms that is 100% biodynamic!
There is a clearly real joy in harnessing the best nutrients and minerals a vegetable can obtain by proper growing and arrangement of seeds, in relation to weather and soil-age, among other vital attributes.   The symbiotic relationship between man and earth couldn't be more delicious and beautiful to behold when all the right elements are aligned for optimum ripeness.

Welcome to Sonoma-Broadway Farms!

It has been one year since we at at Delessio's Market and Bakery have started growing on our Sonoma-Broadway farm, and crops are looking great!  We are now using close to half our San Francisco foods from this farm and the plan is to make this farm 100% biodynamic.

Biodynamic farming is a way of growing crops to their fullest natural potential, with the use of aides like wind-shielding, non-genetic modification, arrangement of seeds, and love.

This type of holistic farming does not use pesticides or fertilizers, or wasted food.  Therefore the food is rich in minerals and nutrients.  And flavor!

Coming very soon to the farm will be a commissary!  This will be a small market with places for people for buy what they need direct from the farm and sit and enjoy some stocked fresh food while visiting.

Thank you for stopping by - here's to healthy eating and healthy life!

Sincerely,

Delessio's Market
